Music question « Thread Started on Apr 30, 2009, 4:57pm »
Question, is there anyway in the Music forums i can make a couple of music indexes that i have put up available for download. Im working on a huge database of music. I have them all remotely hosted and can make them available by Artist/band and song name. To build it, we could let members request music to be available to download, and i can make it available for download. Is this a possibility

You probably can do this, but you cannot really make previews for them display there. You can make hyperlinks for the download links so it would look something like ...

Well this is how i do it
Artist alphabetically a- z
Each artist has a song name listed that is linked to download. No displays will be there.
Also in the index as it could grow big, we would have to make the threads alphabetically as one thread would get to big. Heres how i do it on one of my boards.
I make a subboard in Music. then i Use the code to make all threads alphabetical When i make the board, it can only be seen by members. No one is to post in there but can view and download.

Well if it is possible could you all make it available and i will add music by genre and artist and songs. Then we could start adding per member requests.

Well the Music Index. And yes i mean set it up so that i can enter all the stuff in the code. I have a boat ton of music remotely hosted that we can start with.
